Projets en cours/Current Projects
Ecem is currently working on European history, more specifically on the transition from feudalism to capitalism, as interpreted by eighteenth-century Scottish thinkers. She seeks to understand the interplay between economic history and theory in their explanation of progress.
She is also collaborating with colleagues from Arizona State University on a research project concerning the role of the concept of "nation" in Adam Smith's thought.
